Houses by the water in Venice
Like the U.S., there is air pollution in Venice, too. A while ago, air pollution corroded and defaced many priceless stoneworks from the past. There are floods in Venice because of all of the water. Some damaging floods and storms in November of 1966 stimulated increased efforts to rescue Venice from environmental destruction.
